Komatsu supports various cancer awareness initiatives and fund-raising throughout the region. Shavathons are used to raise funds: employees give a donation to have their hair shaved or sprayed and the proceeds go to CANSA.
Breast cancer awareness:
- Donate- a -bra campaign: employees donate new and gently-used bras which are then taken to breast Cancer Clinics that look after women from disadvantaged areas.
